Caelan Doris, a leading contender to captain the British & Irish Lions in Australia this summer, is in danger of missing the tour due to shoulder surgery he will have this week. The Ireland skipper and No 8 was the main rival to England's Maro Itoje as Andy Farrell's Lions leader and a certain traveller if fit. Lions head coach Andy Farrell names his final party for the tour of Australia in London on Thursday and will now be sweating on the fitness of Doris.
